Job Summary:

As the Banquet Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing all aspects of banquet operations to ensure the success of events and functions hosted at our hotel. You will lead a team of banquet staff, coordinate event setups, and ensure that service standards are consistently met or exceeded. With your attention to detail and commitment to excellence, you will contribute to the overall guest experience and help create lasting memories for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct and motivate banquet staff to deliver high-quality service in accordance with established standards and requirements.
• Oversee financial and administrative responsibilities, including budget management, inventory control, and asset protection.
• Coordinate event setups and ensure that banquet rooms are arranged according to guest specifications and brand standards.
• Work closely with event planners and clients to understand their needs and preferences, and ensure that all requirements are met.
• Monitor and maintain banquet beverage records to control costs and manage inventory effectively.
• Plan and schedule banquet staff to meet forecasted demand while maximizing profitability.
• Foster positive relationships with clients and guests to enhance customer satisfaction and drive repeat business.
• Set performance goals and provide training and development opportunities to enhance the skills and capabilities of banquet staff.
• Conduct regular meetings with banquet staff to communicate expectations, share updates, and address any issues or concerns.
• Stay current on industry trends and developments, and incorporate innovative ideas into banquet operations to enhance the guest experience.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in banquet operations, preferably in a managerial role.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate staff to achieve excellence.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, guests, and team members.
• Knowledge of banquet service techniques, food and beverage offerings, and event planning processes.
• Familiarity with budgeting, inventory management, and other financial aspects of banquet operations.
• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.
• Certification in food safety and/or alcohol service preferred.
