What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facility Attendant position at Blue Water Development?
Looking for a team member to provide onsite support to ensure the property and common areas are clean, neat and orderly. This will require multiple visits throughout the day (usually morning and late afternoon or early evening) to ensure the trash is maintained and building looks in order.
Will have flexibility to set schedule and hours to complete tasks.
Must be self managed
Must have own transportation and cell phone or tablet to track and report hours and communicate with property management team.
Essential Responsibilities: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
- Responsible for daily upkeep of the property buildings, Exterior Work, No Bathrooms
- Clean common areas such as sweeping floors, mopping floors, cleaning windows, doors and other features, providing basic housekeeping support
- Remove trash and maintain garbage and monitor garbage management system.
- Provide basic maintenance support such as replacing light bulbs and touching up painting
- Will need to use ladders regularly to reach higher areas
- Keep all of the stairways, walkways and building entrances cleared and safe
- Collaborate with property management and maintenance team to make sure the building are always properly cared for
- Spray and Pull Weeds
- Ensure the property is clean, orderly, well-manicured and guest ready at all times
Performs other duties as assigned
Provides regular and reliable attendance
Job Qualifications:
High school diploma/GED

Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit. The employee frequently must squat, stoop or kneel, reach above the head and reach forward. The employee continuously uses hand strength to grasp tools and climbs on to ladders. The employee will frequently bend or twist at the neck and trunk more than the average person while performing the duties of this job.
The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds such as a toolbox. Occasionally the employee will lift and/or move up to 75 pounds such as full trash cans and pallets. The employee will sometimes push/pull items such as tables, trashcans and ladders. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
