Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the processing of accurate and timely payroll for weekly, semimonthly and monthly process for multi-state locations and multi-entity shared services.
- Administration, review and validation of time entries, PTO Requests for all hourly and salaried employees.
- Process manual checks including final checks and off cycle payrolls as needed.
- Process garnishment orders, unemployment wage claims and other requests for information.
- Reconcile payroll data and prepare the necessary journal entry and upload into the ERP system for posting.
- Be the first point of contact and support for any employee related payroll questions and inquiries.
- Supports in monthly, quarterly and year-end tasks including reconciliation and preparation of headcount, journal entries and year end forms.
- Prepare and provide support for internal and external auditors as needed.
- Prepare and run ad-hoc reports as needed.
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations.
- Other duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2-4 Years of Payroll Experience.
- FPC Designation a big plus.
- Working knowledge of HRIS Platforms (Ceridian Dayforce, UKG, ADP, Namely, Paychex, Paylocity), Oracle Netsuite and Microsoft Office.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required.
- Knowledge of Federal and multi State laws required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with all levels of employees and management.
- Self-starter with a positive attitude, high organizational skills, detail oriented and ability to produce accurate results.
- Ability to maintain high degree of confidentiality.
