Overview of the Position Responsibilities: The Event Specialist reports to the Community Marketing Manager and supports the company by building brand awareness for Bluepeak products and services while generating new leads for the marketing team through efficiently executed events and a highly engaging social media presence.

What You Will Do:

  • Work closely with Community Marketing Manager for determining partnerships and calendar of events.
  • Be on-site at all events as the team lead or sole representative during summer months.
  • Administer, organize, document, and continually monitor the events calendar and related files. This
  • requires having a good understanding of event participation objectives to help inform and collaborate
  • regarding event strategy.
  • Photograph and document events for follow-up & posting on social media sites.
  • Analyze the success of each event and propose creative new improvements for the event experience.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

What You Will Need: 

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Have a knack for understanding the importance of analytics and how to maximize marketing for event lead generation.
  • Proven experience managing and delivering successful events across an organization.
  • Must be an excellent communicator with a great attitude and personality for customer engagement.
  • A successful cross-collaborator with a passion for tracking business metrics and adapting strategies as necessary.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, demanding but rewarding start-up environment.
  • Keen eye for planning and detail
  • Ability to multi-task and work independently and within a team environment
  • Be a roll-up your sleeves team player who is ready to dig into any new idea or pivot as needed.
  • Reliable transportation
  • Willing to work Thursday-Sunday.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and social media platforms; Facebook, Tiktok, Twitter, etc.
  • Prolonged periods of standing and walking. Occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and easily maneuver from standing to kneeling.
  • Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds at time.
