This is a hybrid position based in either the Kansas City, MO or Memphis, TN metropolitan areas.
Job Description
The Channel Marketing Manager will partner with the Head of Channel Marketing to implement business and brand strategies across the selling teams and builder networks for BBNA’s portfolio of building brands (Butler and Varco Pruden), focused on supporting sales effectiveness and builder development efforts, to enable the adoption and growth of brand-specific building solutions. This position will be hands-on in planning, developing and executing the marketing calendars for each brand, driving programmatic campaigns and promotions aligned to brand and business goals, identifying sales enablement requirements of our builders and representatives, and coordinating efforts to bring the voice of builders into our activities.
Responsibilities
- Implement Strategies: Implements established brand and segment strategies across our brand sales teams and builder channels, targeting adoption and growth of our solutions.
- Support Channel Launches: Launches new products, services, and technology updates, overseeing detailed planning and related builder channel communications.
- Deliver Comprehensive Sales Tool Framework: Partners to support the sales process and customer buying journey with a set of tools, aligning these to our value propositions, and delivering consistency and scale in our positioning, messaging, and reach.
- Marketing Calendar: Creates calendar of campaigns, promotions, and incentives for each brand, overseeing cross-functional day-to-day execution. This includes working directly with our digital demand center to develop cross-channel strategies and identify emerging needs.
- Programmatic Activities: Organizes the marketing calendar into a comprehensive program of activities, that provides a proactive line of sight to our business and builders, and allows for effective channel activation.
- Builder Group Management: Owns the organization and management of builder groups for each brand, to bring the builders voices into our strategic and tactical efforts, working with the larger marketing team to determine opportunities.
- Measures Impact: Measures marketing efforts and investments, to demonstrate impact, attribution and ROI.
- Refines Current Strategies: Refines existing strategies to maximize effectiveness and strategically implement initiatives in the builder channel to foster relationships. Streamline tactical requests while enhancing strategic efforts for sustainable growth.
Qualifications
Education/Experience
- BA degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- 7 years experience developing and implementing go-to-market strategies at a product, category and / or segment level, with examples of integrated success.
- Strong understanding of B2B marketing, in a matrix organization, working through a third-party distribution network of builders or dealers.
- Extensive experience in marketing planning and campaign development and execution, evaluating commercial impact through physical and digital approaches.
- Proven ability to build strong customer relationships and deliver customer-centric solutions.
- Ability to manage external agency relationships and internal shared services teams
- Excellent written communication skills and well-honed presentation skills.
- Operates effectively, even when things are not certain, or the way forward is not clear.
- Plans and prioritizes work to meet commitments aligned with organizational goals.
- Exceptional proven collaboration with Sales and Marketing organizations. Able to work within a centralized strategic marketing team, effectively influencing strategies, initiatives and decisions in other areas.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.
- Ability to travel up to 15% of the time.
