What are the responsibilities and job description for the Talent Acquisition Partner (Hybrid) position at Bluestem Brands?

We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Partner to join Fingerhut, a market-leading FinTech whose mission is to help its customers establish, build, or rebuild their credit! This role will be based out of our Eden Prairie office which operates in a hybrid work setting.

Fingerhut has set becoming an ‘Employer of Choice’ as one of its four ‘Transformation’ goals to kick-off in 2022. After two years of pandemic, the ‘great resignation’, highly competitive Minneapolis and national labor market given the ability to work remotely leadership recognizes that the employee experience has to be greatly enhanced from acquisition through development to lead to retention.

The Talent Acquisition Partner will be responsible for recruiting across a broad spectrum of roles and functions. Here you will partner with leaders to drive business results by ensuring they have the talent to meet the organization’s growth goals. Be prepared to move quickly, engage proactively, and impact how we build a strong employee experience beginning with talent attraction through to onboarding.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct full life-cycle recruitment including candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer negotiation through to on-boarding
  • Interview and evaluate candidates using consistent processes including phone and digital interviews, behavioral interview questions, and assessment processes
  • Develop thoughtful, comprehensive, and position-specific search strategies that leverage best practice recruiting methods and emphasize diversity in the candidate slate
  • Provide top-tier candidate experience through the recruitment process ensuring excellent communication and an experience consistent with an employer of choice
  • Bring an innovative lens to the recruitment process by leveraging external talent boards, recruiting resources, and in-house ATS to identify, attract, present, and recruit top talent
  • Anticipate recruiting challenges and related issues utilizing creative, customized approaches to supplement traditional sourcing methods
  • Responsible for initiating all pre-employment and candidate processing including background checks and onboarding setup


QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3 years of recruiting experience, including full cycle recruitment for a variety of professional roles
  • Strong collaborator and team player with the ability to quickly build trust
  • Excellent communicator with a passion for providing top-tier candidate and hiring manager experience
  • Passion for improving processes and the flexibility to adjust to changing priorities
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to source strategically using a variety of methods
  • Experience working with posting roles and mining job boards
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills and experience with an ATS (We operate UKG)
