ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Human Resources Generalist to join our team! You will be responsible for the delivery of day to day HR activities and administrative support for the People team. This role is a contributor to the support of all HR functions with a focus on employee onboarding/offboarding, HRIS and data management, operation/coordination of people programs.  To be successful in this role, this individual must be comfortable taking on a wide range of HR tasks, partnering with stakeholders across the organization, and executing effectively to achieve outcomes in an ambiguous environment.

The goal of the HR Generalist will be to ensure the People team’s operations run smoothly and effectively deliver value to the organization as a whole. 

This is not a fully remote role. At BlueVine, we pride ourselves on our collaborative culture, which we believe is best maintained through in-person interactions and a vibrant office environment.  All of our offices will reopen in accordance with local guidelines, and will follow a hybrid model.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Partner with the People team on compliance, employee onboarding/offboarding, employee changes and maintain a high level of data integrity in our HRIS and other internal data sources (ie. Google sheets).
  • Coordinate pre-hire activities including onboard in system and send out new hire paperwork; process I-9s/E-Verify, conduct new hire orientations and address benefits/perks questions.
  • Develop content including email communications, templates, SOPs and other employee-facing materials. Design content that builds on internal branding and strengthens the employee experience through consistent messaging.
  • Provide support for all people programs and initiatives including, employee engagement initiatives, training, performance management and company events.
  • Maintain and organize employee facing resources – ensuring forms, policies and resources are up-to-date and easily accessible by employees; Develop and maintain records of all people policies and processes; Assess existing processes and collaborate with colleagues to identify and implement changes to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Assess people programs, processes and workflows. Collaborate cross functionally with leadership and key stakeholders to identify areas of improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency
  • Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources. 
  • Work with internal HR partners including Benefits, Payroll, Talent, and Learning & Development. 
  • Support and develop various HR initiatives. 
  • Manage HRIS changes collaboratively across the organization and systems

WHAT WE LOOK FOR

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required
  • 2 years of experience as an HR Coordinator, HR Generalist or equivalent role 
  • Broad knowledge of HR processes, and best practices
  • Proficient in MS Office/Google Suite
  • Experience with HRIS/ATS software
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to handle data with confidentiality
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable with public speaking and leading meetings
  • aPHR or similar certification is an advantage
