Overview:
Responsible for providing support to users, coordinating and scheduling all help desk requests involving computer hardware, software, and systems, and network and telecommunication equipment.
Responsibilities:
This position description is subject to change at any time as needed to meet the requirements of the company.
- Provides the day-to-day help desk and support operations of computers, other network hardware, software and cloud applications support, training, and special projects.
- Provides connectivity support for internet, phones, and Office365 environment.
- Maintains IT documentation.
- Analyzes and troubleshoots system logs, and tracks the nature and resolution of problems.
- Assists and provides support and training to staff, as needed.
- Provides email training and software support. Researches and troubleshoots email problems by reviewing mail logs, records, and network configurations.
- Coordinates the ordering, receiving, setup, transfer, and disposal of all computer equipment, ensuring proper compliance with BMA policy.
- Maintains Cyber Security compliance with NIST and CMMC frameworks
- Maintains and administers SharePoint
- Data review and data entry
- IT Inventory Asset tracking, control, and monitoring
- May assist with Security duties
- Identifies and researches user issues to resolve operational difficulties.
- Recommends system modifications, if required, to reduce user problems.
- Escalates more complex issues, as appropriate
- Performs other duties and assignments as required.
Qualifications:
- Experience:
- Greater than 2 years of relevant experience
- Preferred DoD contingency operations experience.
- Skills:
- Excellent skills in SharePoint, PowerShell, Microsoft Office 365 Admin Center.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and within a group.
- Working Conditions:
- Office working environment requiring prolonged sitting and extensive keyboard and computer operation.
