Visual Merchandiser

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have experience in visual merchandising in a retail environment, as well as the availability to travel extensively on airplanes Monday through Friday each week. The position can be physically demanding, sometimes requiring the strength to lift and move 30 lb. boxes of merchandise, as well as climb ladders on location. We are looking for a ‘can do’ person that is willing to do what it takes to get the job done!

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

· Implementing our plan-o-gram designs in various locations worldwide, and representing our company in the field.

· Communication with our in-house team for scheduling, customer requests and field materials required

· Shipment/item validation on-site. Unpacking and verifying merchandise against packing list.

· Organization of merchandise for install

· Implementation/installation of plan-o-gram design

· Provide on-site training of our merchandise program and website tools to our customers and their staff.

· Written summaries after completion of install. (Used for interdepartmental communication and additional action).

Requirements:

· 90% Travel. Availability to travel Monday through Friday each week.

· Willingness to work odd hours or overnight, when requested, to accommodate the business hours of our customers.

· Strong visual merchandising and design background.

· Strong Interpersonal, as well as Customer Relations skills. We build relationships, as well as redemption set-ups, with our customers.

· Ability to work independently, as well as with a team

· Ability to multitask with strong attention to details

· Current US Passport required

· Valid Driver’s License required, as well as personal vehicle/transportation (will reimburse)

· Ability to rent a car on-location when needed (will reimburse)

· Basic Computer skills
