POSITION SUMMARY:
In the role of the Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining customer service and delivering outstanding hospitality. The Assistant General Manager is responsible for assisting the management team in managing all areas of restaurant operations including but not limited to, food cost, labor cost, profit & loss, running shifts, training and retaining an excellent staff, ensuring adherence to health, cleanliness and safety standards according to company policies and procedures.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Supports management team in ensuring that each customer receives outstanding service by ensuring your team provides a customer-friendly environment, including greeting and acknowledging every custom, maintaining a high standard of professionalism, thorough knowledge of restaurant items and all other components of exceptional service.
Handles customer complaints/comments, with a customer-oriented approach, and uses them to make improvements.
Assists general manager in driving direct reports and training team members in the areas of new product introductions and promotional programs.
Conducts routine internal quality assessment audits and complete detailed written assessments to help determine preparedness of location.
Monitors financial controls, personnel management, facilities, marketing, food preparation and quality, and general business operations and possesses the organizational agility to report on these measures to your management team to drive annual performance appraisal process for all direct reports.
Communicates company policies with direct reports to team members through written and oral communication in a timely and effective manner.
Works under pressure while exercising good judgment and handles conflict and resolves uncomfortable situations with clients, customers, peers and direct reports.
Identify potential or existing operational problems and initiates, develops, and implements appropriate solutions and measures results.
Assists with Implementing planning to drive down waste costs.
Maintains adherence to all company policies and procedures, as well as state health/sanitation standards.
Assists the general manager with clerical functions within the business/restaurant, which may include: payroll, accounts receivable, accounts payable, scheduling, and operating statements.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $57,500.00 per year
