Management Responsibilities of the Internet Sales Manager:
- Oversee daily operations of internet
- Manage all new and pre-owned internet leads.
- Work in conjunction with sales managers and General Manager to meet sales departmental goals and KPIs.
- Participate in dealership management
- Familiar with industry-proven "Best Practices" marketing
- Discuss status on all leads with Salespeople at least once a week. Create a save-a- deal approach for internet
- Create, implement and manage an appointment confirmation process.
- Maintain a minimum closing percentage of 13% departmental average for the month.
- Manage process to ensure that all leads have a quality response within 15 minutes of receipt.
Training Responsibilities of the Internet Sales Manager:
- Design and implement a plan for recruiting, interviewing and hiring Sales Associates.
- Create training processes designed to build a productive and profitable
- Train all personnel handling internet leads on dealership’s current lead management systems and
- Train on professional electronic/email
- Train on professional telephone
- Conduct product knowledge
Qualifications of the Internet Sales Manager:
- Dealer Track experience is a plus.
- Must be able to work under deadlines.
- High degree of professionalism to handle sensitive and confidential information
- Must be able to provide quick turnaround of unanticipated requests and prioritize and organize workflow to ensure effective and efficient completion of assigned tasks
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain performance in high pressure situations.
- Strong business acumen and judgment necessary.
- Strong interpersonal skills exercising discretion and diplomacy in working with others including all levels of management.
