What are the responsibilities and job description for the IntRep, Phys Sec position at BNY Mellon?
Provides and supervises security matters for employees, clients, visitors and property in accordance with all regulations, policies and procedures. Files reports and is responsible for taking proactive security measures.
Assists in coordinating the emergency response to incidents that occur at the facility. Makes decisions regarding the need to dispatch, add, and/or post guards in response to specific incidents.
This is a 3'rd shift position. Hours are 3:00 to 11:00 CST.
Days off are Sunday & Monday. Schedules and oversees 24/7 contract guard coverage for the facility. Trains guard staff on emergency response procedures.
Reviews and files incident reports for lost or stolen items and reports for other incidents including medical emergencies.
Contributes to the maintenance of the building fire and life safety programs, ensuring coverage and proper staff certifications.
Supervises the issuance and maintenance of the access control system for applicable region.
Provides guidance to less experienced staff; may serves as the team leader for a team of security staff.
Responsible for the quality and completion of own work.

Qualifications
High school/secondary school or the equivalent combination of education and experience required; bachelor's degree preferred. 2-3 years of total work experience preferred. Security certifications are preferred.
