Human Resources Coordinator

Boar's Head Resort is seeking a dedicated Human Resources Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting various HR functions and ensuring the smooth operation of HR processes.

Duties:

  • Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.
  • Monitor/audit job requisition and candidate files and track applicant flow. Working with department managers, continuously monitoring job descriptions, and updating as necessary.
  • Assists with recruitment and interview process. Tracks status of candidates in ApplicantPro and other employment platforms i.e. Indeed etc.
  • Assist with the screening of applicants.
  • Schedules interviews for all departments and invites department managers as appropriate.
  • Completes Forms I-9, verifies I-9 documentation and maintains I-9 files.
  • Assist in tracking and communicating the employee referral information to payroll.
  • Makes photocopies, scans, and emails documents; and performs other administrative functions.
  • Files documents into appropriate team member files.
  • Assists or prepares correspondence as requested i.e., employment verification.
  • Prepares new-employee files.
  • Assists with processing of terminations.
  • Organize and order all office supplies, including nametags, folders, etc.
  • Participate in planning and execution of all associate events.
  • Assist in ad-hoc HR projects, like collection of employees’ feedback.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be able to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
  • High level of computer proficiency; specifically with Microsoft Office (Excel, Windows, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Publisher).
  • Must be flexible with the ability to work late and on the weekends when required.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Working understanding of human resource principles, practices, and procedures.
  • Excellent time management and proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience.
  • At least two years’ related experience required.

Pay: $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
