Driller Helper

Being employed as a Mining Helper with Boart Longyear is one of the most rewarding experiences someone who loves to travel and work outdoors can have. As a Mining Driller Helper, you get to help set up, tear down drills, and help with moving materials/supplies with your team to and from the drill site. This position requires a lot of heavy labor, long hours, and travel but is constantly growing and always has a lot of room for advancement including higher pay rates.

They also pay for all of your safety gear, give you a $95 per day per diem to help with food and lodging, and most travel expenses are covered through mileage or flat rate from your doorstep to the job site! All flights are covered as well!

Job Type: Full-Time

Pay: $17-$19/hr (with overtime you have an easy ability to gain up to $60,000 annually)

Job Responsibilities:

• Hauling supplies to and from the drill site

• Manual material handling

• Mixing drilling fluids

• Assisting the driller in the drilling processes

Qualifications:

• Be willing to travel weeks at a time and work in remote locations

• Be willing to work 20 days working/10 days off, 5 days working/3 days off, and/or etc. based on job up to 10-12 hour days.

• Have a valid Driver's License

• Willing to complete a Background Test and Drug Screen
• Be okay with getting Covid19 tested as required if not vaccinated
