NOTICE OF FILING OF APPLICATION UNDER THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF LABOR’S
PERMANENT LABOR CERTIFICATION PROGRAM
An application concerning the employment of one or more alien workers for the following permanent position will be filed with the Department of Homeland Security. This Notice of Filing will be posted for 10 (ten) consecutive business days (M-F), ending between 30 and 180 days before filing the permanent labor certification application.
POSITION TITLE: Assistant Professor – Division of Natural Science
POSITION DUTIES: Provide student instruction from a Christian worldview for undergraduate courses in engineering program. Advise students on academic matters. Teach assigned courses including class preparation, grading, and other related teaching activities. Participate in departmental meetings regarding curriculum development, etc. Monitor trends to make recommendations concerning courses and curriculum content. Requires a master’s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or closely related engineering field. Requires one (1) year of experience teaching engineering curriculum at the college level.
RATE OF PAY: $65,980 per year
The employer will pay or exceed the prevailing wage, as determined by the U.S. Department of Labor.
