POSITION SUMMARY: As the Project Manager, you oversee project coordinators and have the overall responsibility of projects starting and completing on time. You will work with the various departments and managers on processes, resources, cost, scope, and schedules.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversee the organization, implementation, and completion of projects
Understand revision cycle for each product line
Ensure projects are started on time
Review project schedules to ensure the projects have enough time to be completed
Identify weak areas in processes, offer solutions, and discern which solutions would be most helpful
Keep procedures updated and communicate all updates
Foster and facilitate positive communication between Project Management and all other departments
Communicate the status of projects (meetings, reports, etc…)
Provide leadership to Project Management team
Coordinate with Director regarding staffing, assignments, and work schedules
Lead project coordinators in the efficient execution of their duties
Evaluate employee performance
Provide training, coaching, and resources for employee development
Communicate organizational goals, philosophy, and priorities
Support optimum working conditions and foster department morale
Initiate improvements in department culture (spiritual-mindedness, team player, excellence)
Other customary Managerial duties (approving time, HR communication/documentation, management meetings and anything else given by the Director)
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Positive, problem-solving skills
Ability to plan, schedule and track projects
Ability to adjust, recover, troubleshoot, brainstorm and work under pressure
Ability to lead a department/team to hit due dates
Ability to follow company protocols in order to most efficiently effect the accomplishing of goals
Ability to create a fun/happy work environment
