This is why you're here
- Greet customers, develop customer relationships to build brand loyalty and increase market share in the sale of new equipment, attachments and rental equipment opportunities.
- Provide solutions to customers and potential customers relating to their equipment needs.
- Coordinate with sales team to increase rental income to achieve monthly, quarterly and yearly sales goals.
- Quote and negotiate prices and credit terms, work with customers on financing and payment options, preparing contracts and close orders.
- Create, develop and maintain customer relationships and brand loyalty to increase market share within the current and prospective territory.

- Meet or exceed individual and company sales goals for units sold and gross profit.
- Provide solutions to customers and potential customers relating to their equipment needs for all industries served.
- Provide expertise for demonstrations, machine inspections and technical support.
- Maintain industry contact database for designated territory.
- Generate new customers through frequent calls and opportunity visits.
- Stage/organize front line of yard for displayed units.
- Manage and maintain an organized yard with equipment and attachments.
- Prepare rental agreements and notify customer of estimated delivery time.
- Meet or exceed individual and company sales goals for units sold and rented.
- Provide expertise for demonstrations, machine inspections and technical support.
- Generate new customers through calls, email follow-up, walk-ins and other opportunities.
- Communicate and interact with yard operations on customer’s equipment requirements.
- Ensure that rental equipment is properly maintained, tracked and ready for rental to maximize utilization of the equipment.
- Communicate with management to recommend changes to the fleet, including adding units that are in high demand, transferring underperforming units out of the stores, or selling aging equipment.
- Maintaining and updating your CRM system weekly with lead flow and generation
- Secure construction equipment and other equipment, on company owned vehicles, by means of chaining, strapping, and blocking in accordance with strict and established guidelines and procedures.
Requirements
Some must-haves to qualify
- 2-3 years’ experience in sales, customer service or rental of construction equipment or related industry, preferred.
- Ability to operate all products and models of equipment sold by Bobcat.
- Solid prospecting, presentation and closing skills.
- Excellent customer service skills required.
- Computer skills required including proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
- General understanding of sales policies and programs.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Positive, enthusiastic and customer-focused.
- Ability to pass a criminal background screening.
- Must possess a current drivers license and have a clean driving record.
The physical stuff
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. assisted or unassisted.
- Ability to reach, bend, lift, crouch, type, talk and other related physical activities.
- Ability to work both in an indoor and outdoor environment
- The work involves moderate risks or discomforts which require special safety precautions, e.g., working around moving parts or machines, fumes or irritant chemicals.

- Highly Sought After Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm! No weekends!
- Work Location: Bobcat of Cape Cod, 170 MacArthur Blvd, Bourne, MA

- Pay: competitive rate and commission
