Job Summary
The Human Resources Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the human resources department in a variety of areas including, but not limited to, recruiting and onboarding, updating and maintaining personnel related data, and general HR administrative support.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Assist with posting job ads, scheduling interviews, and checking references of qualified applicants. Sends standard written responses to inquiries.
Assists with new-employee background checks.
Reconciles benefits statements.
Prepare and maintain employee files and I-9 files.
Files documents into appropriate employee files.
Assists or prepares correspondence as requested.
Makes photocopies; mails, scans and emails documents; and performs other clerical functions.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Working understanding of human resource principles, practices and procedures.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience.
At least two years related experience required.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
