ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Distributor Sales Assistant provides administrative and operational support to the sales team, facilitating communication with distributors and ensuring efficient processing of orders, deliveries, and customer service requests. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of the sales process.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist the sales team in managing relationships with distributors and ensuring timely communication.
- Handle inquiries from distributors regarding product availability, pricing, promotions, and other sales-related topics.
- Provides product, promotion, and pricing information by clarifying customer requests, selecting appropriate information, forwarding information, and answering questions.
- Direct sales leads to appropriate sales team members.
- Process distributor orders and ensure accuracy and completeness in the company’s sales management system.
- Enter and track distributor orders in the system.
- Coordinate with the warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders.
- Follow up on back orders or delays and communicate status updates to distributors.
- Escalate complex issues to the appropriate departments as needed.
- Maintain positive relationships with distributors to encourage repeat business and loyalty.
- Maintain and update distributor account records, including contact information and purchase history.
- Enter and update data in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
- Ensure that distributor data is current and accurate for sales forecasting and performance analysis.
- Help manage promotional activities, product launches, and sales campaigns for distributors.
- Provide administrative support to the sales team, including scheduling meetings and managing calendars.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- NetSuite, ERP or CRM experience helpful.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
- Three to five years of experience in an administrative role.
- Ability to support multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with the body jewelry and piercing industry is a plus.
- Self-motivated and able to thrive in a results-driven environment.
