The Boeing Company is looking for an Associate Certification Systems Analyst to support the Boeing Organization Designation Authorization (ODA) and Airworthiness team in Oklahoma City, OK.
This individual will be responsible for providing support to the ODA and other Airworthiness functions of the organization. The primary task will be supporting ODA Project Administrators and Certification Engineers in developing and maintaining FAA project files for on-going certification activities. This will require that the individual selected be able to review technical data to ensure it is complete and compliant with ODA process, managing both physical and electronic records utilizing database applications, and audit ODA project files to ensure the project is complete prior to project closure.
In addition, this individual will be responsible for managing the organizational retention of records. This individual may also be asked to support other Airworthiness initiatives on-going in Oklahoma City.
Position Responsibilities:
- Researches, analyzes, and compiles basic technical data for company products and system-level concepts in the projected operational environments to optimize effectiveness over the program lifecycle
- Applies systems engineering processes, methodologies and tools to the design of basic system of systems, systems and new product development
- Derives and develops basic architectures, functional requirements, refinements and product designs
- Assists in the integration of technical, cost, value, risks and specialty engineering considerations into definition of the product
- Interfaces with other members of the project or program teams, management, sales and marketing staff, customers and suppliers to meet group, organization and company objectives
- Works under general supervision
The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor Degree or higher
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Experience using analytical, collaboration, communication and organizational skills
- Knowledge and/or experience with FAA Certification
- Experience in data/file management (e.g. ability to organize, sort, label, scan, and otherwise manipulate paper and electronic inspection records as required)
- Experience with server administration and file management structure
Typical Education/Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master, 6 year's related work experience, etc.).
