We are looking for an HR Generalist who embodies this purpose to join our Best-In-Class HR team.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance and customer service for upwards of 900 employees, focusing on liability management, performance management assistance, policy interpretation and onboarding administration in partnership with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition and HR Operations
  • Enhance productivity and reduce liability through intentional communications and driving HR practices
  • Help identify any divisional or federal legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting HR functions and helps ensure current policies, procedures, and associated actions are compliant
  • Support and consult with internal customers across various offices
  • Schedule, coordinate, and execute new hire onboarding and acts as a primary resource for employee self-service along with HRBP’s
  • Lead offer letter process for divisions under their support and assists with new hire processing in Timekeeping and HRIS system(s)
  • Facilitate new hire check-ins and review feedback questionnaires with new hires to foster a positive employment experience. Filter any feedback and recommended actions to HRBP’s, OST partners and direct management chain as applicable.
  • Support HRBP’s with the Firm’s performance and compensation cycles
  • Facilitiate COVID-19 and any other infectious disease contact tracing and communication/notification to employees impacted
  • Act as a strategic thinker who starts with a conceptual idea or vision and then assists with the development of systems and processes that are executable, realistic, and results-oriented

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field or equivalent work experience and 4-6 years minimum HR experience with emphasis on employee experience/employee relations preferred
  • Experience in professional services environments, preferably an engineering environment
  • Experience with HRIS platforms (preferably Workday)
  • HR experience working with employees spread out across various offices
  • HR Generalist experience supporting 1000 employees
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Effective problem solving/decision making skills
  • Ability to multi-task; stellar attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office programs
  • Exposure to Diversity and Inclusion Programs
  • Ability to communicate controversial topics or complex ideas in a clear, concise and logical sequence at a level appropriate to the audience
  • Strong HR and business knowledge to be influential with internal HR team & leadership team
  • Solid interpersonal skills which allow for the appropriate methods of dealing with human behavior in a variety of business circumstances
  • Ability to work well within and support other members of internal HR team
