Residential Program

- FT: Fast 40 (Mon- 7a-3p, Sat 7a-3p, Sat 11p-7a, Sun 7a-3p, Sun 11p-7a) Harrisburg
- Weekend: First (7a-3p), Second (3p-11p), Over Night (11p-7a)
- PRN: 2nd shift (3p-11p), 3rd shift (11p-7a)
Community Program
- PT: Mon-Tues- Wed and Fri 4p-9p

Better Outcomes Living Diversely, Inc. (BOLD) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. We support people who have intellectual disabilities in their homes and in temporary respite and group homes.
BOLD is looking for direct support professionals to assist adults who have intellectual disabilities/ autism at our respite location.
Community Support Professionals: (must be active)
- Education and support to people who are living independently in the community.
- Hands-on teaching in the home as well as in the community. Examples include cooking classes, personal care, household tasks, and budgeting.
- Connecting with community-based resources to broaden opportunities for independence.
Direct Support Professional's Residential:
- Help the people we support live their lives to the fullest by assisting them with their routines throughout their day.
- Build bonds through companionship.
- Show patience, compassion, and empathy in each engagement with all of the people supported by BOLD.
- Assist house guests in organizing their day and activities and above all, enjoy themselves.
- Additional duties include light housekeeping, cooking, skill-building, and medication administration.
Qualified candidates should have experience in this field, a high school diploma or GED, have a valid driver's license, and be able to pass a criminal background check.
NOTE: Even part-time positions can work full-time hours if desired.
Hours are available in Mechanicsburg and Harrisburg areas.
Agency vehicles and mileage reimbursement are available.
Salary : $17 - $17
