What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Lab Tech position at BONNELL ALUMINUM?
Description: The quality lab technician will oversee all mechanical testing in the quality Lab. He or she will complete tensile testing, bend testing, crush testing and dimensional inspections for products that require it in our facility. The lab technician will be held accountable for maintaining the lab equipment and scheduling outside vendors. He or she must have basic knowledge of commonly used tools such as: calipers, protractors, Go/No-Go gages, tape measures, and scales. They must be willing to work with minimal supervision and be self-motivated. Training and pre-established work instructions will be provided for all equipment to help facilitate the learning process.
