Why We Are Different
Boomerang Therapy Works is a unique physical therapy clinic where we get 60 minutes one-on-one time with the patient. This gives you time to get to know your patients and truly help them reach their goals.
We predominately treat patients with neurological conditions (Parkinsons, CVA, MS, brain injury, vestibular) which means we get tough, complex cases. While it can be daunting at times, it means the rewards are even greater when you help someone reach their goals and improve their quality of life. Along with the patients with neurological conditions, we are seeing more patients with orthopedic issues as well.
In addition to physical therapy, the clinic offers group exercise classes, Tai Chi, and personal training. The goal is to keep our patients strong, active, and healthy throughout their lives by providing opportunities to exercise once they have completed physical therapy.
Hours That Work for You
Boomerang offers flexible schedules that work for the work-life balance that is best for you. We are looking for someone to work at least three days a week, but we have the demand to get you up to 5 days a week if that is what you are looking for.
The goal is for everyone to have the work-life balance that works for them so we can do the work we love and have the energy to have a life outside the clinic. For example, we have one clinician that works two days a week, one that works three full days and two half days a week.so there are options that work with your life!
Our Culture
As a small clinic, we have the chance to get to know each other, our patients, their families and caregivers. We get to be a team where all members input is valid and appreciated as we try to navigate complex patients and an increasingly challenging healthcare system without losing our excitement and passion to help people. We also have a pretty great sense of humor and laugh a lot during our days.
While we cant pay as much as the big hospitals or the clinics with multiple locations across the country, and I know joy doesnt pay the bills, we do offer competitive salaries with other independent clinics.
