Looking for a very tech savvy Recruiting specialist, who wants to learn the business at a higher level. The pay is open but more importantly the opportunity is about learning and growing in the growing field of recruiting. The opportunity is in Columbia and it is an in-office opportunity. Ultimately, the responsibilities of the Recruiter are to ensure our company attracts, hires and retains the best employees, while growing a strong talent pipeline. You will be working with a Senior Recruiter with over 25 years’ experience daily.
Responsibilities
Carry out the overall recruiting strategy
Perform job and task analysis to document job requirements and objectives
Source and recruit candidates by using databases, social media etc
Screen candidates resumes and job applications
Conduct interviews using various reliable recruiting and selection tools/methods to filter candidates within schedule
Assess applicants' relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience and aptitudes
Onboard new employees in order to become fully integrated
Practice HR recruiting best practices
Promote company's reputation as best place to work
Skills
Strong computer skills
Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills
Hands on experience with various selection processes (phone interviewing, reference check etc)
Proven work experience as a Recruiter a HUGE plus (either an in-house recruiter or a staffing agency recruiter)
Required:
High school diploma or GED
