What are the responsibilities and job description for the School Chef position at Boone Winnebago Regional Office of Education?
Prepares and cooks large quantities of food in a school cafeteria setting. Oversees the preparation of menu items, such as soups, meats, vegetables, fruits, breads, salads, for consumption through the use of cafeteria equipment and cooking/baking processes. Inspects equipment for cleanliness and functional operation. Works with the Food Service Director to implement NSLP (National School Lunch Program) compliant menus (breakfast, lunch & snack).
