Position Overview:
At Boost Auto, we are seeking a driven, motivated, self-starting individual to oversee and manage our social media profiles including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts. Boost Auto has a brand reputation like no other, where brand loyal customers use social media to interact with a company that they firmly believe in. This role is focused on the management and growth of our social media accounts including campaign development, data analytics, content creation, and social media moderation. This individual will develop strong social media content for each platform based off best practices, and actively analyze account data to optimize this. This Social Media Manager role also requires the candidate to effectively work with our customers, before and after purchase, through our social media profiles. This position will manage day to day social media messages, comments, and posts along with staying up to date with trending community topics and community interaction.
In addition to social media posting and moderation, this role will also develop and curate all content for each platform by producing our own in-house videos and pictures, while supporting our strategy with user generated content. The content created by the Social Media Manager will support Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
The Social Media Manager will have unique opportunities to assist and lead other digital marketing initiatives to expand their skillset and provide career growth. To develop social media content and campaigns, some travel to trade shows within the United States will be required.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities
- Capture, film, and edit engaging video and picture content for social media platforms
- Maintain a social media content calendar with scheduled posts on a weekly basis
- Ability and willingness to create content in the evenings with our content team on a weekly basis
- Review social media data regularly and provide input on social media strategy
- Respond to social media comments and messages in a timely manner while maintaining brand image
- Ability and willingness to publish posts and respond to social media inquiries after hours and on weekends
- Willingness to travel to trade shows as a brand representative and to create content
- Assist with additional marketing initiatives as needed to support marketing and business growth
Expectations:
- Strategize and implement high quality social media content to help grow our platform
- Cross-collaborate with internal teams for content creation and social moderation
- Ensure overall brand imaging & messaging strategy is maintained throughout all content
- Ability to reliably meet project deadlines and work through solutions in a timely manner
Qualification & Requirements
- 3 years of social media management experience in a professional setting preferred
- A Bachelor’s degree in related field (marketing, business, etc.)
- Have a strong understanding of social media best practices and data analytics
- Demonstrated experience in creating engaging video and photo content for social media
- Demonstrated experience using a graphic design tool preferred
- Experience with customer service preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Power Point)
