Key Role:
Investigate computer security incidents to obtain useful information in the enhancement of system and network security measures. Share your skills and high-level expertise to inform strategies and mitigate the most pressing vulnerabilities. Collect, analyze and present digital-related evidence in support of computer crime investigations as a Booz Allen digital forensics analyst. Apply your advanced consulting skills, extensive technical expertise, and full industry knowledge while developing innovative solutions to complex problems. Work without considerable direction. Mentor and supervise team members.
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience leveraging hash sets and data to enhance investigative efforts
- Experience using common digital forensic examination tools, including FTK, EnCase, and X-Ways, to perform forensics examinations on hard drives of computers, storage devices, cell phones, or any electronic device that may hold evidence that could be used in a court of law
- Experience performing a variety of forensic and electronic discovery services, including digital evidence preservation, forensic analysis, data recovery, electronic mail extraction, and database examination
- Knowledge of forensic analysis of digital information and the gathers and evidence handling process
- Ability to observe proper evidence custody and control procedures, documents procedures, and findings in a manner suitable for courtroom presentation and to prepare comprehensive written notes
- TS/SCI clearance
- Master’s degree and 10 years of experience in computer and network forensics, or 22 years of experience in computer and network forensics in lieu of a degree
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience as a EnCase Certified Examiner (EnCE), Cellebrite Certified Mobile Examiner (CCME), GIAC Certified Forensic Examiner (GCFE), Magnet Certified Forensic Examiner (MCFE), Certified Computer Examiner (CCE), Certified Forensic Computer Examiner (CFCE), Digital Media Collector (DMC), Digital Forensic Examiner (DFE), or Cyber Crime Investigator (CCI)
- Experience with Agile Methodology
- CompTIA A , Network , or Security Certification
- SAFe 5.1 Agilist Certification
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $106,200.00 to $242,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.Work Model
