IT Transformation Facilitator

Key Role:

Serve as the user’s advocate throughout the product design and development process, providing critical user-centric insight that informs product strategy to support the digital transformation of HR systems. Apply advanced consulting skills or extensive technical expertise, and full industry knowledge. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Facilitate discussions with Navy leadership to identify and solve problems. Lead workshops and communicate your research and illustrative analysis using root cause analysis, trend analysis, fishbone diagrams, and future state models to help establish understanding and agreement from key decision-makers. 

Basic Qualifications:

• 7 years of experience in working with the Navy and or DoD

• Experience in successfully interfacing with senior Navy or DoD leaders to build consensus across disparate groups to design and implement digital transformation

• Experience with forging relationships with key stakeholders to identify and solve existing and emerging pain points

• Ability to facilitate and lead senior-level working group meetings and discussions to enable IT transformation

• Ability to develop innovative solutions to complex problems

• Ability to shape formal recommendations and illustrate workshop findings in impactful visuals and compelling storytelling

• Ability to deliver exceptional solution strategies to Navy leadership

• Secret clearance

• Bachelor’s degree

Additional Qualifications:

• Experience with OPNAV as a civilian, military or contractor

• Experience with Microsoft Office tools, including Word and PowerPoint at a proficient level

• Experience with performing quantitative and qualitative data analysis and visualization using statistical programs and survey software, including Excel, SPSS, and Tableau

• Knowledge of DoD HR Systems

• Possession of excellent facilitation skills and advanced consulting skills, including excellent verbal and written communication

• Master's degree
