We’re looking for you, a front-end developer who will use equal parts skill and vision to build an experience that delivers functionality and efficiency.
We need an experienced developer who will use their passion to work with a development team to learn new tools and techniques, identify and implement system improvements, and mentor teammates. This is an opportunity to solve problems at the Department of Veteran's Affairs by collaborating with a development team to build Power BI dashboards with user centric design. You'll coordinate UI/UX designers and back-end developers to create a seamless user experience using Power BI. Your will ensure accessibility for all users by developing a front-end that functions across browsers, platforms, and devices while meeting accessibility and security requirements. With mentoring, positive code reviews, and opportunities to learn new tools and skills, we focus on growing as a team to make the best solutions for our customers. Join us as we build systems to change the Department of Veteran's Affairs for the better. This position is a hybrid role with a combination of working at a Booz Allen office or client site and working remotely.
You Have:
- Experience with Microsoft Power BI developer, data visualizations, data analytics, and dashboards
- Experience with developing solutions with the Microsoft Power Platform/PowerApps, Architecture and Application Development
- Experience with object-oriented languages, including Java, C , or C#
- Experience with data storage methodologies and analysis tools, including SQL
- Ability to work independently to achieve successful results with minimal guidance
- Bachelor's degree
Nice If You Have:
- Experience in a software developer or data science role
- Experience with statistical, forecasting, or predictive modeling
- Experience with scripting, including JavaScript, Python, or PowerShell
- Experience with web application development in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Java, or .NET-based tools
