What are the responsibilities and job description for the Technical Writer position at Booz Allen?
Key Role:
Support a large enterprises ongoing development solution that provides and manages training needs nationally to law enforcement. Write and maintain technical documents, such as technical procedure manuals, user or service manuals, programming standards, operational process and specifications (SOPs), job aids, release notes, and end-user help documentation. Collaborate with development team and user community to produce relevant materials.
Basic Qualifications:
2 years of experience writing, editing, and publishing technical documents, including process, systems, and user documentation
Experience rapidly understanding new systems and business requirements
Secret clearance
HS diploma or GED
Additional Qualifications:
Experience with document, interactive, and recorded help documentation
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $67,700.00 to $154,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
