WHAT YOU'LL DO
BCG’s Health Care Practice Area (HCPA) helps companies grasp the strategic implications of changes in the market environment and leverage them to build competitive advantage.
We serve many of the world’s Health Care companies, including most of the world’s leading with what is one of the largest and most important sectors of our company.
As a Global Sector Coordinator within BCG’s Health Care Biopharma Sector, you will contribute directly to the success of the business through a number of roles, including business reporting, team engagement and affiliation, marketing events management, and internal communications.
Business reporting :
- You will conduct data analysis in Excel and related tools and generate insights across performance (e.g. revenue and other data), planning and investments (e.
g. Campaigns and Innovation Fund) to inform sector strategies
You will support the Biopharma business line and regional leads in providing additional analyses on their respective business
Team engagement and affiliation :
You will work on projects that support growing and developing the broader Health Care Biopharma Sector, including :
- Interfacing with our Regional Managers and People Manager to ensure accurate Sector affiliation and leverage accurate Sector affiliation data to grow, drive and engage our cohorts
- Organizing internal Sector regional affiliation events and supporting our wider PA global and regional meetings
Preparing meetings and materials :
- You will work closely with the Sector Director and Business Development Senior Manager to prepare for the monthly leadership team meetings and CCO council meetings
- You will support the upskilling agenda of the sector, e.g., by creating slides for supporting materials and being involved in the monthly Biopharma Academy
Marketing :
- You will work with HC Biopharma Sector Director and HC Marketing team on thoughtful planning and execution of the Seat at the Table (SATT) strategy and conference marketing activities
- You will support external events / round tables across key topic areas (e.g. select conferences and roundtables)
- You will work with the Sector’s Business Development Senior Manager as well as our Marketing team on the monthly client webinars
Internal communications :
- You will lead content preparation and manage distribution of our Sector communications including select regular newsletters and other Sector communications
- You will develop and apply a working knowledge for our IP, publications, marketing and social media activities

- Dealing with fragmentation and working internationally and across seniorities - thriving in a multi-stakeholder, multi-workstream environment
- Building a strong network in the Health Care Practice Area and beyond
- Leveraging a robust understanding of BCG / PA / Sector business to help make decisions
- Maintaining a clear overview of Sector goals, milestones and progress
- Supporting, and in some cases, driving complex, ambiguous projects or processes that routinely require independent judgment, trade-offs, or prioritization
- Developing creative solutions and implementing improvements, high degree of service orientation
YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
- Bachelor's degree with 2 - 4 years of relevant experience in a professional services environment
- Experience in a management consulting environment and international experience are a plus
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint with excellent analytical skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Service oriented team player with learning, can-do and growth mindset
YOU'LL WORK WITH
The Global Biopharma Sector Director, the Biopharma Business Development Senior Manager, and the broader HCPA Management & Operations Team.
You will collaborate with other Sector, PA, and Marketing Coordinators to ensure that HCPA is running smoothly, efficiently, and productively.
You will work across BCG our business services team is made up of finance, meeting services, marketing, executive and administrative assistants, visual service artists, receptionists, facilities staff, and office coordinators to manage operations across the firm.
You will also work with the sector leadership on select topics.
