What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate Director of Digital Marketing position at Boston Digital?

Boston Digital is seeking an Associate Director of Digital Marketing to spearhead the development of best-in-class digital marketing strategies for high-level interactive and marketing engagements. In this role, you will manage the overall digital marketing strategies for clients and will lead the implementation of marketing campaigns across several channels.


Responsibilities


  • Develop and implement digital strategies based on client’s business goals, market situation and audience needs
  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of client’s overall business and marketing objectives
  • Stay on top of emerging digital trends in order to optimize approach over time and bring a constant flow of fresh ideas to our clients and internal teams
  • Serve as business partner to our Account Services Team and clients to ensure that we are building strategies that will drive business results
  • Be ultimately accountable for the measurable success of programs, campaigns, and projects Boston Digital develops for our clients
  • Act as the leading expert across organic and paid social, SEM/PPC & display, email marketing and automation, and performance analytics
  • Exhibit ability to work both independently and leveraging a team across digital marketing projects. We are a small agency looking for a natural leader who is comfortable digging into the weeds and getting their hands dirty.


Qualifications and Skills


Required:


  • A minimum of 7 years’ experience working in digital marketing agency
  • Ability to define objectives and work with a team to develop a cohesive strategy that drives campaign and business results
  • In depth knowledge of various digital marketing channels
  • Systematic and process-oriented
  • Advocate for collaboration and internal cross-pollination with designers, technology and management team
  • Familiarity with marketing automation platforms
  • Leadership skills and strategic vision
  •  Exceptional collaboration, teamwork and interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills with strong executive presence
  • Capable of building client trust and enhancing agency/client relationship
