Boston Digital is seeking an Associate Director of Digital Marketing to spearhead the development of best-in-class digital marketing strategies for high-level interactive and marketing engagements. In this role, you will manage the overall digital marketing strategies for clients and will lead the implementation of marketing campaigns across several channels.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement digital strategies based on client’s business goals, market situation and audience needs
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of client’s overall business and marketing objectives
- Stay on top of emerging digital trends in order to optimize approach over time and bring a constant flow of fresh ideas to our clients and internal teams
- Serve as business partner to our Account Services Team and clients to ensure that we are building strategies that will drive business results
- Be ultimately accountable for the measurable success of programs, campaigns, and projects Boston Digital develops for our clients
- Act as the leading expert across organic and paid social, SEM/PPC & display, email marketing and automation, and performance analytics
- Exhibit ability to work both independently and leveraging a team across digital marketing projects. We are a small agency looking for a natural leader who is comfortable digging into the weeds and getting their hands dirty.
Qualifications and Skills
Required:
- A minimum of 7 years’ experience working in digital marketing agency
- Ability to define objectives and work with a team to develop a cohesive strategy that drives campaign and business results
- In depth knowledge of various digital marketing channels
- Systematic and process-oriented
- Advocate for collaboration and internal cross-pollination with designers, technology and management team
- Familiarity with marketing automation platforms
- Leadership skills and strategic vision
- Exceptional collaboration, teamwork and interpersonal skills
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills with strong executive presence
- Capable of building client trust and enhancing agency/client relationship
