Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Purchasing Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will oversee our company's purchasing activities, ensuring cost-effective procurement of goods and services.
Duties:
- Develop and implement purchasing strategies
- Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed
- Collaborate with internal teams to determine procurement needs
- Oversee the procurement process from sourcing to delivery
- Utilize MRP systems for efficient inventory management
- Fabricate and analyze reports on purchasing activities
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field
- Proven experience in Procurement Management, Supply Chain, and Logistics
- Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable terms with suppliers
- Familiarity with Oracle EBS or similar ERP systems
- Ability to analyze contracts and agreements effectively
Nice-to-have Skills:
- Experience with contract management
