Boulder Community Health is seeking a RN Manager Inpatient Behavioral Health that serves the needs of young, middle and older adults, the Inpatient Behavioral Health Nurse Manager is responsible for administrative and clinical management, as well as program development and evaluation for adult inpatient psychiatric services and psychiatric evaluation in the emergency department.

Qualifications
BSN/BAN degree OR MSN degree within 2 years
Current, active Colorado RN license required;
BLS Certification required by the end of conditional period;
APNA certified preferred.
Management experience in a related health-care setting required. Prefer minimum of three (3) years.
Clinical experience in a related setting required, minimum of three (3) years.
Responsibilities
Supervises psychiatric evaluation in the emergency department to assure the appropriateness of admissions in order to maximize inpatient census and to maintain a safe care environment.
Seeks advancement in profession and shares information from at least one (1) conference attended annually.
Ability to assess, treat, and / or care for adult through geriatric psychiatric patients.
Ensures that nursing staff is clinically trained to care for patients with acute and / or chronic medical needs.
Employees are expected to comply with all regulatory requirements, including Joint Commission Standards.
Cultivates diverse, inclusive, caring culture.
Assists in the development and implementation of appropriate orientation, ongoing education, and annual competencies.
Coordinates with the BHS Director and the BHS Clinical Leadership Team to provide responsive and integrated behavioral health services.
Responsible for maintaining appropriate staffing in relation to program needs, census, patient acuity, and productivity standards.
Provides leadership and direction in formulating and implementation of BHS goals and objectives.
