Summary:
Boulder Medical Center (BMC) is currently seeking Registered Nurse (RN) candidates to join our Pediatrics Team! This position works per diem / as needed running flu and vaccine clinics for Pediatric patients.

Day shift schedules are Monday through Friday. There are occasional voluntary four (4) hour shifts on Saturday mornings from 8 am - 12 pm for several primary clinics (Family Medicine and Pediatrics).

Experience working in both primary care and specialty care clinics.
Job Duties

Provides comprehensive professional nursing care to individuals and/or families acting as the patient’s advocate, facilitator, and educator.

Recognizes, evaluates, and responds to emergency or unusual situations in the clinic, using nursing judgment to ensure medical care.

Assists the patient and/or instructs the patient in preparation for the provider’s examination and/or specific treatment.

Prepares examination/treatment rooms for provider’s use by ensuring that appropriate supplies, equipment and instruments are available and ready on a daily basis. Maintains examination/treatment rooms in a neat and orderly manner.

Assists the provider with examination by anticipating needs for instruments and supplies. (e.g., minor surgery, pelvic examinations, diagnostic procedures, etc.)
Required Experience:

Must be able to recognize and identify patient’s symptoms and use appropriate professional judgment in course of action.
Requirements:

Graduate of accredited nursing program. Current RN licensure by the State of Colorado.
Experience:

1-2 years’ nursing experience in a medical office, clinic or hospital, preferred.
Salary Range:
- $29.50 - $37.50/hour; depending on experience
