Job Summary:

As a Performance Marketing Manager for our B2B and B2C hair care company, you will be responsible for developing and executing digital marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, customer retention and product sales. You will play a key role in shaping the online and social community across all global sales channels via all digital marketing mediums to maximize brand and product growth.

Responsibilities:

Digital Strategy:

  • Conduct digital market research to understand customer preferences, industry trends, and competitor activities.
  • Create and execute digital marketing strategy for new product launches and monthly digital marketing campaign calendar.
  • Analyze B2B and B2C customer habits, conversion, and data to make informed decisions and continuously improve digital marketing strategies.

Digital Marketing:

  • Create and manage the digital marketing team’s campaign calendar from ideation, to creation, delegation, and completion.
  • Manage CRM system to build automations and promotional, educational, drip and nurturing campaigns from ideation, to creation and activation, including email, SMS, social media, and influencer partnerships.
  • Create & deploy email and SMS segmented marketing automations and campaigns.
  • Utilize SEO, SEM and blog strategies to increase online visibility and drive organic traffic to the website.
  • Implement Shopify marketing website updates, new pages, features, apps, and resolve issues when needed. Improve online customer experience for both B2B and B2C channels.
  • Create and promote B2B and B2C digital programs (such as subscription, loyalty, etc.), webinars, and podcasts.
  • Manage search ads, social ads, and other digital advertising.
  • Participate in a growth team to present monthly testing, KPIs, and overall performance results.

Content Collaboration and Creation:

  • Brainstorm and coordinate with the brand marketing team for campaign ideas and consistent content.
  • Create creative briefs for the brand marketing team when photos, videos, webpages, email templates, digital ads and assets as needed.
  • Develop engaging, compelling, relevant, and high-conversion content and copy with a visually appealing design for all digital assets, website pages, ads, and newsletters, consistent with the brand guidelines, messaging, positioning, product bible, and campaign to ensure it resonates with the target sales channel audience.
  • Review all assets from the digital marketing team for accuracy against the request/brief, brand guidelines, messaging, positioning, product bible and campaign before deploying or going live.

Management:

  • Manage and oversee work performance for Social Media Coordinator and Influencer Coordinator.
  • Manage digital vendors including but not limited to social ad and search ad agencies.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including operations, sales, customer service, and product development, to ensure alignment in marketing efforts.

Analytics and Reporting:

  • Participate in growth team meetings to present monthly reports on digital marketing KPI achievements or course correction plans as needed.
  • Use data-driven insights to optimize campaigns and improve overall digital marketing performance.
  • Develop and manage digital marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources for maximum impact.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • A minimum of five years of proven experience managing a digital marketing team in the beauty or consumer goods industry, with a focus on B2C e-commerce and global B2B wholesale.
  • Participating one a growth team and growth hacking experience is a plus.
  • A dynamic individual with a passion for the beauty industry, ability to create strategic plans, and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of digital and traditional marketing trends, platforms, and tools.
  • Excellent written, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Creative thinking and ability to generate innovative ideas independently.
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making, strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with excellent follow-up and attention to detail.
  • Experience with Google G Suite (Gmail, Docs, Sheets and Slides), Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Dropbox, Shopify, Klaviyo, Acrobat DC, and Canva.
  • Up to 20% travel as needed.


This is a full-time, 40-hour per week, hybrid position Monday through Friday.
