HR Generalist
Boundless is seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our team! This role will be responsible for running the daily functions of the HR department including recruiting, onboarding/offboarding, employee relations, performance management, engagement initiatives, compensation, and benefits, leave, and payroll administration. This position will report to our Chief Operating Officer.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Facilitate the recruiting and hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborate with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
- Work with third party vendors to conduct background checks and employee eligibility verifications.
- Lead new hire orientation.
- Administer all benefit programs including 401(k), STD, and FMLA.
- Process semi-monthly multi-state payroll. Manage state tax accounts.
- Manage employee database within compensation software. Provide benchmarking reports for annual reviews as well as ad hoc promotions and hiring.
- Administer rewards and recognition programs.
- Oversee employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices.
- Plan and organize employee engagement activities, including overseeing our Boundless Cares initiatives.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- 2 years of human resource management experience required.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
- Experience with BambooHR a plus
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification a plus
Other Specifications
- This position is located in our central Austin office with option to work remotely one to two days per week.
- Some travel will be required
Salary : $45,100 - $57,000
