A well-established craft and artisan style restaurant chain in Provo, UT is searching for a General Manager to oversee operations at their newest location! They are looking for someone with a passion for the restaurant industry and a background in management of fast-paced, high volume restaurant sales as you’ll be managing and mentoring a team of approximately 100 dedicated staff members, including salaried managers and hourly employees, ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests. Pay Range: $65,000 - $70,000 DOE
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the restaurant's operations
- Lead and oversee a diverse team of approximately 100 part-time and full-time employees, including salaried managers
- Set and maintain rigorous standards for cleanliness, organization, and food quality
- Schedule, train, hire, fire, and onboard staff
- Ensure the restaurant operates efficiently
- Supervise food preparation, cooking, and inventory management
- Create schedules, manage timecards, and oversee financial tracking using Excel spreadsheets
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of restaurant management experience in a fast-paced environment with annual sales exceeding $4 million
- Passion for the service industry and commitment to delivering high-quality food
- Proven experience managing teams, including scheduling and staff oversight
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Strong attention to detail and familiarity with kitchen sanitation and safety regulations
- Conflict management abilities and excellent organizational skills
