What are the responsibilities and job description for the RE property Manager + Bookkeeper position at Bower?

We are a family-owned Real Estate office seeking to add a new member as an integral part of our team. This individual is expected to be equipped with skills in property management & accounting.

Responsibilities will include, but not limited to, the following:

1. Transactions and property management for Residential, Commercial, Retail & Industrial real estate

2. RE Accounting, specifically AP & AR, for all tenants, contractors & services. Conduct monthly bank reconciliations & journal entries. Assist in property administrative role as needed

Key Characteristics:

  • Highly detail oriented with excellent record keeping skills
  • Project management skills including timely implementation and execution
  • Ability to prioritize assignments appropriately with proper organizational skills
  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Yardi System or any relative Real Estate Software's

Experience:

  • 2 year of experience in property management and/or accounting a plus.
  • Salary is negotiable

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

Ability to Relocate:

  • Long Island City, NY 11101: Relocate before starting work (Required)
