Overview
Program Manager:
Bowhead seeks a Program Manager to conduct organizational studies and evaluations, design systems and procedures, conduct work simplification and measurement studies, and prepare operations and procedures manuals to assist management in operating more efficiently and effectively. Includes program analysts and management consultants.
Responsibilities
- Possesses demonstrated knowledge and experience applying analytic methodologies and principles to address client needs
- Applies analytic techniques in the evaluation of project objectives and contributes to the implementation of strategic direction
- Performs analyst functions including data collection, interviewing, data modeling, project testing, and creation of performance measurements to support project objectives.
- Conducts activities in support of project team’s objectives
Qualifications
BS or BA degree required
At least four (4) years of experience as an analyst in a program management, technical, or business analysis discipline; and included in the four (4) years, there must be two (2) years professional experience supporting NAVAIR programs or offices
Demonstrated knowledge of SECNAV, OPNAV and OSD policy and documentation related to management, operations and life-cycle management of military acquisition programs.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts
- Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
- Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
- Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically
SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must currently hold a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
