What are the responsibilities and job description for the Store Manager position at Bowled?
Duties
- Oversee the daily operations of the store, ensuring efficient and effective performance
- Provide excellent customer service and resolve any customer complaints or issues
- Manage and supervise store staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and evaluating performance
- Maintain inventory control and ensure accurate stock levels
- Monitor sales and implement strategies to achieve sales targets
- Develop and implement store policies and procedures to ensure smooth operations
- Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate goals, expectations, and updates
- Handle cash register duties, including cash handling, opening/closing procedures, and reconciling sales
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as local regulations
Experience
- Previous experience in a retail or customer service role
- Proficient in time management to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Familiarity with cash register operations
- Administrative skills for managing paperwork, reports, and employee records
- Experience in recruiting, training, and developing a team of employees
- Ability to supervise staff and provide guidance and feedback
