Position with a highly competitive and successful steel erector and fabrication business in central Florida. Bowman Steel is certified by the American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC). The company has offices in Sebring and Summerfield, Florida, employs 150 people, and has been an industry leader for 30 years.
Construction projects are located throughout the southeastern United States and as far north as Virginia. Seeking candidates who are excellent Ironworkers. Candidates must take initiative and have good time-management skills, as well as communicate effectively and professionally with fellow employees.

Job Description/Responsibilities include:
- Works with the Field and Shop Foreman to establish priorities and goals
- Ensures all safety precautions and quality standards are met
- Experience connecting
- Understands steel construction job site and equipment terminology
- Able to read drawings, plans, and blueprints
- Communicates clearly and professionally to customers, vendors, and management
- Contributes to the positive company culture
- Familiar with cut lists
- Familiar with the installation of Miscellaneous steel
- Able to operate forklift and load/unload trucks
- Competent welder
- Proficient with handheld grinder
- Able to fabricate handrail from drawings
- Knowledge of angles and measurements
- Willingness to learn and trainable
- Willingness to travel
- Bowman Steel Utilizes E-Verify

$23.00 - $28.00 per hour
