We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will play a key role in financial reporting, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial statements, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting activities.
- This will initially be a rotational assignment with the successful candidate quickly learning and performing basic AR, banking, Cost and general ledger functions.
- Ensure monthly closing process, including fuel inventory variance review and analysis, journal entries, reconciliations, margin analysis and management reporting, are completed accurately and timely.
- Candidate will work collaboratively with supervision to develop permanent role after completion of rotation.
- Role requires both accuracy and speed in execution of assigned tasks.
- Must be organized and able to prioritize workload.
- Must be a self-starter and able to stay on task with minimal supervision.
- Must be customer oriented and able to work and communicate well with both internal and external constituencies.
- Demonstrated willingness to perform tasks not directly associated with role, including backing-up coworkers, clerical tasks, and other duties as assigned.

- Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
- One to two years accounting office related work experience for a degreed candidate; two to five for non-degreed candidate.
- Fuel industry experience preferred, but not required.
- Demonstrated computer skills, especially importing to and exporting from Excel.
- Strongly prefer a four-year degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration or other business-oriented field.
- Will consider relevant experience in lieu of education.
- Candidates will participate in assessments that are specific to position skillset needs.
