The Boys & Girls Club of the Wausau Area is committed to empowering kids and teens, particularly those who need us most, with access to quality programs and services that promote positive futures.

The Club offers daily access to programs and activities to help members achieve Academic Success, Good Character & Citizenship and Healthy Lifestyles, while teaching the value of character, community, education and diversity.

The Club operates five days a week and is supported by volunteers and the community.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Resource Development Coordinator with the Boys & Girls Club of the Wausau Area located in Wausau, WI.

The Resource Development Coordinator is responsible for supporting the fundraising efforts through campaigns targeting foundations, corporations, civic groups and individual donors.

The Development Coordinator provides cultivation and stewardship support to the board of directors, volunteers and CEO for ongoing fundraising efforts.

The coordinator acknowledges donor gifts, manages marketing and supports special events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent experience preferred
• A minimum of two years work experience in a Boys & Girls Club or similar nonprofit with an emphasis on fundraising, marketing, management, budgeting, community and public relations
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
