PRIMARY FUNCTION: Organize and plan an activities schedule for an after-school program group. Organize and lead a variety of small and large group activities each week.
SHIFT: 2:30pm - 7:30pm (Some mornings may be required during school break times)
KEY ROLES: Program Development and Implementation
Create an environment that facilitates academic excellence
Identify and respond to youth behavior issues
Ensure that areas are kept clean and organized
Assist in maintaining accurate attendance
Learn and understand ALL emergency procedures associated with the after-school program;
Learn, enforce, and follow all safety guidelines associated with the after-school program areas. This includes but is not limited to being responsible for youth safety and their whereabouts at all times; and all other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Ability to lead, plan, organize, and implement educational program activities for youth 5-18
Ability to work as a member of a team and the ability to accomplish tasks with little direct supervision
Strong organizational and communication skills
Excellent written & verbal skills; organizational skills and attention to detail
Willingness to work with children, youth, parents, families, and adults and to strive for personal development, advancement, and improvement
Must be able to adapt to various situations at a rapid pace
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $11.00 - $13.00 per hour
Schedule:
- After school
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

- Childcare: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- First Aid Certification (Preferred)
- CPR Certification (Preferred)
