GENERAL SUMMARY:

The position of SAP Business Analyst offers a hardworking, team-oriented individual the opportunity to manage, design, develop, implement and support SAP initiatives ensuring compliance and accuracy of business solutions. This position has a concentration in Sales & Distribution within our S/4 HANA environment, but as part of an agile team, will be actively involved in adjoining areas.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Analyze current business processes/scenarios and assist with recommendations to meet business needs with a focus on Sales, Distribution and EDI
• Directly support the technology related needs of the Lakeside supply chain
• Monitor and resolve production issues and requests that are submitted by users
• Knowledge of SD/LE Master Data, integration points, and data flow
• Clear understating of Order-to-Cash streams
• Understanding of EDI and API best practices and configuration
• Knowledge of sales processes including customer master, order management, material substitution, ATP, delivery, shipping, and billing
• Understanding of Material Data, and Bills of Material, and Batch management is a plus
• Undertakes and guides UAT testing
• Ensure business, functional and technical requirements are captured, organized, and followed throughout the project lifecycle
• Keep abreast of IT initiatives and help evaluate and communicate impact to end users
• Researches industry best practices, SAP Methodology, principals, concepts and techniques
• Educate and train users on why and how processes and transactions are conducted

KNOWLEDGE:

• Strong, in-depth understanding with SAP SD and LE
• End to End process knowledge and understanding of integration points between SD, MM, and FI
• Working understanding of EDI processing of customer orders is a plus
• Working understanding of rebate and incentive management is a plus

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
• 4 years’ hands on experience implementing and supporting SAP

• 2 years’ focus in Sales and Distribution
