What are the responsibilities and job description for the Indirect Freight/Logistics Global Buyer position at BranexGroup?
Develops strategic direction/planning for all Indirect categories, including
freight & logistics, capital equipment, software, services, leases, and indirect material purchases for businesses to ensure global procurement strategies/business plans are achieved.
Oversees all Indirect contract/price negotiations and the development of negotiation tactics to achieve budget and pricing targets.
Negotiates and manages company vehicle and property lease agreements.
Develops, Implements and Manages strategic agreements with Key suppliers.
Supports the development and maintenance of department expense budgets, productivity, and capital budgets.
Significant focus on a cost competitive and sustainable supply base, driving cost transparency, supplier optimization, reduction, and development.
Help identify opportunities to communize processes, materials and equipment globally.
Improve working capital through optimum payment terms.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENT(S):
BS/BA in Supply Chain, Business, or Engineering, or a combination of relevant education and experience.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT(S):
5-8 years of relevant procurement experience.
Ideal candidate will have procurement experience with freight & logistics, Capital Equipment, Software,
Buildings, Vehicles, and MRO.

Pay: $120,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
