Retail Manager – Branson Immersive Retail Store
Role Overview: The Retail Manager will oversee the daily operations of the Branson Immersive Retail Store. This role involves inspiring and guiding staff, upholding exceptional customer service and sales standards, managing inventory and assets, and driving sales growth while ensuring smooth operations and a safe environment for both staff and customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service Excellence: Uphold company standards to ensure superior customer service across all aspects of the store, including store appearance, merchandise displays, product placement, inventory management, store layout, and sales procedures.
- Leadership and Team Development: Lead by example, motivate, and coach employees in real-time. Identify areas for improvement and collaborate with the Global Retail Team to develop training programs that enhance job performance.
- Performance Metrics: Drive growth and maximize Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to achieve company goals.
- Inventory Management: Oversee inventory maintenance and stock control. Address loss prevention issues to minimize shrinkage and protect company assets. Conduct regular inventory cycle counts to maintain accurate Quantity on Hand figures.
- Reporting and Meetings: Complete weekly Visual and Operational Walkthrough (VOW) reports and participate in weekly meetings.
- Customer Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for resolving customer issues professionally and positively.
- Local Liaison: Work with local venue management to ensure adherence to company procedures and protocols. Collaborate with both local management and the Global Retail Team to identify opportunities and assist in the development and execution of growth strategies.
- Standards and Expectations: Demonstrate and set clear expectations and standards for employees to follow.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Proficiency in English, both verbal and written.
- At least 5 years of retail experience, including 5 years in a management or supervisory role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including daytime, afternoon, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Skilled in prioritizing and organizing workload for consistent productivity.
- Team-oriented, enthusiastic, creative, reliable, and punctual.
- Experience with cash handling is an asset.
- Familiarity with Lightspeed POS (R-Series) is a plus.
