Job Summary

The Program Manager position is passionate about seeing a project reach its full potential and finding creative ways to drive strategic impact and improvement around New Product launches and Sustainment activities. This includes leading New Products being commercialized through BrassCraft’s stage gate process and TCP cost savings initiatives. Running project timelines and cross-functional teams is essential to the success of the position.

Purpose:

The Program Manager collaborates internally with global cross-functional teams to build robust action plans and then carries out to achieve desired goals and initiatives. The Program Manager is responsible to build and sustain relationships to deliver on new product commitments that consistently meet or exceed timing, cost, form, fit, function and performance goals. This position will evaluate proactively for contingency planning and how this role’s activities fit into the overall growth objectives. In this role, you will be encouraged to think creatively and come up with new ways of doing things. You will develop a comprehensive understanding of our internal New Product Development (NPD) structure. Expected to be a doer across a variety of teams to make plans, meet plans and deliver on time projects to positively impact the business.

Nature & Scope:

This position is a key role in driving product vitality for BrassCraft. Project Management requires general business knowledge to plan, organize, and control resources, procedures, and timing for Product Development process.

Core Accountabilities :

  • Organizing project teams, assigning individual responsibilities, developing project schedules, and resolving resource requirements

  • Monitoring and reporting on the status of projects including cost, timing, and staffing

  • Ensuring adherence to internal and external quality standards (e.g., International Standards Organization)

  • Identifying/resolving obstacles to completing project on time and to budget

  • Includes leading multiple, interrelated projects (including NPD and TCP projects)

  • On some projects, the work may include integrating supplier / customer tasks into the project plan and tracking and reviewing these deliverables

  • Ensure all results are met through the conception/prioritization of new product development, product management and value engineering initiatives

  • Supporting the Product Plan and drive alignment within the cross-functional team

  • Meet with team members outside of the team meeting to ensure task completion

Education and Experience/Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field

  • Minimum 3 years of related experience

  • Advanced level MS Excel and PowerPoint

Preferred:

  • PMP credentials preferred

  • Proven understanding of Sharepoint

  • Strong analytical skills and proven track record to analyze and interpret data to generate business insights and actions

  • Highly developed interpersonal skills, including the ability to articulate a vision at all levels of the organization

  • Demonstrated successful ability to prioritize and multi-task various and conflicting responsibilities and the ability to run multiple projects simultaneously
